Our History
JADED Began in Sept of 2006 prior
it was called Strutter with Co founding members Billy Andrews on Bass and Vocals with Rich Nation Drums Vocals, that is how
it all started soon Garrett Bartow was added on guitar, becoming the 3rd member of Strutter With Billy's departure came in
Jim Faith on Bass for a few months. Kevin Reilly was brought on as the full time bassist. Adding Christina Atkins
on Lead Vocals, was the next step. Rich Nation Drums Lead & Backing Vocals, Garrett Bartow Backing Vocals & Guitar,
and Kevin Reilly on Backing Vocals & Bass Guitar. Would be the lineup in place once the name JADED
was placed on the marquee at Whiskey Willie's. The band was named by Christina Adkins after a short stint
with Christina enter Chuck Larkin on Lead Vocals and Guitar. Chuck brought tremendous vocals that would be known as
JADED a few years to come. Adding Jim Barney Bassist, to the band was a Solid move that also helped propel JADED. Us
4 rose to the top of the Tampa Bay music scene for many years. Playing somewhere between 120 - 150 shows a year. Chuck
left the band some years after, and would return several times, Then JADED took on a transformation
period, many different band members kept the name a float. Todd Scotland Bassist and Vocalist was added along with Danny Bellus
for the next chapter of JADED. Bringing New songs and a tremendous amount of backing vocals filling out JADED's sound.
After a bit of time Danny left the band for other adventures. Pete Lee came over from Smoke and Run a popular
local band that was breaking up and taking a break after years of playing in the Tampa Bay area. Todd then moved
up north (Iowa) bringing in several bass players to the band to keep it afloat until Chuck Larkin and Jim Barney
would re enter the band for one last run. When problems arose between Garrett Bartow and the band he was replaced
from the band. Enter Larry Lafance Backing Vocals and Lead Guitar. Larry stayed with JADED for the better part
of a year. His departure brought Garrett Bartow back in the band for one last run to see if we could give the old JADED
one more time around the block. When things didn't work out yet once again, Chuck left yet again, bringing on Aaron loveless (Scilter) to handle the singing and Guitar playing. A
heavy workload was too much to overcome, Scott Lakes was then Brought in to take over the duties of lead
Vocalist. Jim Barney then left the band as well ultimately forming TORN with Chuck Larkin. Nick Key was brought in as a second guitarist. Scott's brush with Cancer took him out of the loop and had
to step down. Enter Rob Kustes on Lead Vocals from Den of Thieves. Nick Key then went on to another band leaving JADED
with 4 members again. Tazz was added on Bass taking over for Jim Barney. A monster bass player and well respected
in the bay area. Tazz moved on not wanting to be with all current band members after a bit. Steve Sturgis came on to play
only to have carpal tunnel force him to step aside. Tazz came back stayed for a nice long run. Which brings us
to Frank Gage an awesome backing vocalist and bassist. As with every ending comes a new beginning Garrett Bartow had
been replaced for the Last time by Kevin Bohling ,Kevin has now went on to another project Enter Nathan Boone an amazing talented
player and Back up vocalist & Lead Vocals to JADED. Rob Kustes has been replaced by Rich Webb not since we had Chuck Larkin
in JADED has the fronting vocals like this. We have gained new heights. This could very well be the BEST lineup ever.
Bringing JADED back to the top of the Tampa Bay music scene. Come get JADED!!!!
